Singing for the love of it in South Georgian Bay

                               Come sing with us!

The Sound Investment Community Choir invites you to sing along with us.  We are looking to expand our choir (to 75 members, both male and female) and would love you to join us. There is no audition needed - just a love of singing and having a good time with like minded people.

Not really sure if singing in a choir is for you?  Come out to the first two or three rehearsals and see if we are a good fit.  Why not give it a try?

Here is what some of our members have to say about singing in a choir:

Musical fulfillment.  It makes me happy!!!

You meet interesting people. Challenge your brain.  Come sing with us!!

I think singing is good for my health.  It exercises all those little muscles in the head and neck that don't get a work out at the gym, and also the big ones in the core.  Singing in a choir has been shown to increase blood levels of oxytocin (the trust hormone) which is beneficial for fighting depression and lots of other psychological things.  Reading music exercises the brain and keeps you smart. Last but not least, SICC is a fun. welcoming, uncritical bunch of people.

Our audience comments on the recent CANADA in the Key of EH!? Concert:

Great performance on Saturday evening.  Thoroughly enjoyed it!

What a great concert!  It was fun for us and it looked like it was fun for you. Please save me some tickets for your next two concerts. Too good to miss. I can see why my grandson is enjoying music and is going to Chicago with the band.  I wish I could sing.

I really enjoyed the concert!  It was really entertaining.

Thank you!  Thank you for a wonderful concert!!  It was fantastic. I really like your director - a lot. Very good selection of music. You could see the audience was loving every minute of it. You sounded so good and looked as though you were having a great time.

What an amazing night!  I enjoyed every minute.  You are all so talented. The intermission with Aaron Solomon was so great; he has an amazing voice.  Both Aarons brought such humour to the event. You should be so proud to be part of this choir.  I will be sure to attend each one in the future.  Thank you again.

We attended your spring concert and I was impressed with the quality of the music and the joy that showed in the performance.

We really enjoyed the concert last night....the sound was lovely!

Thank-you for all your work and enthusiasm. The concert was fun and funny, delightful and nostalgic.  There were lovely singers, and duets and the fiddle and bagpipes-all very memorable for someone who is particularly familiar with Maritime music!...and I had never heard the Ontario song.  Once again thank-you all and Happy Spring!'
